Frequently asked questions

If you have a question about purchasing my Travel Guides online, please check the following to see if it has already been answered.

What is an e-book?

An e-book, sometimes called an electronic book, is an electronic (or digital) equivalent of a conventional printed book. Once you purchase it with a credit card, you can download and enjoy it immediately. Instant delivery!

How do I buy your e-books?

If you have never bought an e-book before, it’s a very easy process.

  1. Select a title from the list of available e-books in the Travel Guides section of my site.
  2. If you want to buy the book, click the “Buy Now” button.
  3. A new window will open. This is the virtual “storefront” for my Paypal online store. Fill in the required credit card information (or Paypal information if you are a Paypal member) and click the “Continue Checkout” button. Paypal is a secure site. Your information is safe.
  4. Confirm all your billing and shipping details, and click “Pay.”
  5. Once your transaction is complete, you will receive an e-mail with a link to download the e-book. Click the link and the download should begin.

What software do I need to read an e-book?

The file format is a PDF. You need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software to open PDFs. Most computers have Acrobat Reader already installed, but if you don’t, you can download it from Adobe’s web page.

What if I am having trouble?

Please feel free to contact me at any time, and I will do my best to help.

Can I order a printed book instead?

Sure! On every e-book page, there is a “printed version” option available. When you buy this version, I will mail you the printed book to the address you provide when checking out. The cost for a printed book is a little higher, as it covers my printing and postage costs.

What is e-junkie.com?

E-junkie.com is the third-party service I use to securely manage my e-book files. They serve as a middleman between my web site and Paypal. At no time do they see any credit card or personal information, other than your e-mail address.
